Vegan Falafel Recipe Air Fryer

Ingredients

- 1 can (15oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
2. Add chickpeas to a large bowl and mash with a fork until it forms a paste.
3. Add the parsley, onion, garlic, flour, baking powder, cumin, coriander, pepper, salt, olive oil and lemon juice to the bowl and mix until combined.
4. Form the mixture into 12-15 falafel balls and place in the air fryer basket.
5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
6. Serve hot with your favorite condiments.
